Raise the minimum wage?
What we should be talking about is a Maximum wage for company management tied to the mean wage of company employees, based on 4 steps in a company. This would not be inflationary and would be different for every industry. This would create competition within an industry. This would also cause people to want to improve themselves and move on to where they could get paid more. In a competitive environment such as this it is not only the stockholder who gets compensated but also the employees. This would also create competition between companies requiring them to offer benefits to attract a better quality workforce.
